Officers are the dependable, knowledgeable, and helpful leaders of the guild.  They work closely with the membership to deliver guild goals for everyone's benefit.

In addition to their benefits and responsibilities as a member of the guild, an officer has:

  1. A duty to maintain and better the guild.
  2. To fulfill officer's post's obligations.  (These vary from post-to-post.)
  3. The ability to provide additional items from the guild bank to a member at their discretion.
  4. The authorization to moderate forums on the guild's website.
  5. The ability to manage Discord accounts on behalf of the guild.
  6. A responsiblility to manage the Volunteers that report up to them.

An officer must possess the following:

  • The World of Warcraft game at its current Xpack
  • Battle.net Authenticator
  • Discord software and the appropriate hardware to use it to listen and speak and an account on Legendary Raider's Discord server.
  • An account on Legendary Raider's website.
  • Be a member for 30 days.

Officers serve a three-month term and are either elected by the membership or appointed by the guild master at the guild master's discretion.  An officer may serve up to two consecutive terms after which they must take two months off to allow others the opportunity to be officers while they relax for a bit.  (While an officer may move from one post to another, their continuous time remains the same, a total of six-months as an officer, regardless of post.)

An officer may step down at any time triggering either an election, appointment, or no replacement at the guild master's discretion. The the majority of officers agree, the GM may reduce an dismiss an officer from the guild leadership team, reducing their rank from officer to member, for cause.

LR's current officers are listed on Getting Started > Leadership Team.
